the pats and eagles are dead this year FORGET ABOUT THEM

it's time for a colts vs giants super bowl first time ever brother vs brother

that would be worth the price to watch without harrison the pats D sucks and even there kicker wont work now ahahah it makes me mad to see mcnabb be such a stupid idiot and throw INTS the pats only won the last super bowl because the eagles turned the ball over 3 times and the eagles D had no turn overs vs pats in the super bowl without harrison pats D is swiss cheese, without owens and having a stupid QB mcnabb they throw INTS and lose maybe mcmanon will at least make it a tuff year for dallas and the giants and try hard to win mcnabb sucks he got paid 105 million 4 yr deal and cant win a super bowl in more then four years meanwhile brady in less then 4 years wins 3 rings and the top pay he got now was a 60 million contract, the eagles should have signed him or a better QB pats and eagles are doomed this year it's funny the best teams of 2004 suck in 2005 and the worst teams in 2004 seem to be much better or the best giants, redskins, denver, dallas, chargers, seahawks colts (always good but the colts didnt have D to get it done)

well thats it tolks it's all true pats beat up and they suck, philly beat up and they suck, now at 4-5 the eagles finelly run the freaking ball vs dallas and lose cuz of stupid mcnabb

pats 5-4 not much better and it's gonna get worse that divison is soo weak miami could top it in 1 or 2 games the steelers need ben to get there if they get him back next week watch out the steelers are doing well and howa about the jags? 6-3 they could do some damage, this season has been something odd and not expected tons of things can happen and will happen but i garentee you pats and eagles WILL NOT get anywere no NFC no AFC championship games maybe wildcard if lucky these teams need to rebuild and begroup for next year.

Dude ty3c, no offense, but ur one of those people that talks about football w/o even any knowledge... For example.. Wtf does "there kicker wont work now" mean - adam vinatieri is 1 of the best clutch kickers in the league, his 30-45 yarders he missed are most all becuz of a bad snap

Adam Vinatieri belongs in the football Hall of Fame. The man has pure ice water in his veins. You get him in range with the game on the line, and he'll guarantee you a win. And the quarterback who gets him in range, he deserves to be in the Hall too. Tom Brady could retire today and make it into the Hall. He's proving this year what many people in the game have known for years, that he's the BEST pound for pound QB in the league. Decision making, arm strength, mobility, intangibles... nobody brings it all to the table like Tom Brady. Without him, the Pats would probably be 2-7.

Man. Thats the point. MAN. It's a MAN'S SPORT. We have the urge to see other people beat the crap out of other people in jest for a piece of "pigskin" and goal-posts.

If you posted anything about "football being pointless" its because you're just want to draw attention to yourself and be rebellious.

let's take this a little at a time, there's quite a lot of insanity to digest here. I like that idea of Eli vs Peyton and this year the NFC is wide-open. Still, it is Seattle's conference to lose. I just hope that if they do get into the Big Dance, Holmgren doesn't do his usual bad clock management thing.

Yes, and we didn't have Tedy, Ted Johnson retired, Romeo Crennel left. Seymour has been out for awhile. The ONLY reason we are sucking this year is all the injuries. Huge huge amounts of key players.

Quote:

you had a better case last year. Adam had a bad 2004 by his standards. But he is Mr. Automatic. Like with Brady, you are seeing a historic player in the prime of his career.

I didn't know TO was on the guru boards. Way to diss McNabb. He's injured, it's your team and you didn't know he's been playing with a sports hernia all season? Teams always try to disclose as little medical info as possible on players, so if you know about it, imagine how bad it REALLY is.

Almost all those teams you named that are better this year also improved in the offseason. They caught up to the Eagles. And the 'Hawks, well they were due for a big year, they got the players already.

funny you don't mention TO at all. But true for the most part.

No way the Pats need to rebuild, we need to get healthy. We have the pieces. If the team was relatively healthy, it would be us and the Colts and everyone else behind.

The rest of the season should be interesting and the Pats won't be a wild card, they will win the AFC East, and I think even win the first playoff game. But the Pats are lacking what they need to win it all this year.

Do you really want a healthy Pats team with a easier schedule in 2006? Cause that is what will happen. Indy better re-sign James or they will be second banana once again.

UR way off im much better built then that and it seems you like to fight on forums only showing ur a wimp im making a point pats and eagles are done this year BANK ON IT.

I didnt talk about TO cuz i am sick of TO ive heard 24/7 TO and im tired of it owens is a brat and he messed up a good thing in philly whos gonna pay him more then 48.79 million contract when he will be 32 next year plus owens for the most part is stuck he signed a 7 yr 48.97 million dollar deal so unless philly releases him or trades him he's stuck an as eagle till 2010. personally owens need to grow up alrdy he should say sorry not on tv but to every eagle fan, player, owner, manager, and everyone for his actions and he should be willing to change forever and stop being a brat.

in other news the eagles have it easy in 2007 and even 2006 to 2008 most of the teams they face will most likey suck and so philly has better shot at getting back for mcnabb to throw 3 INTS in the super bowl last year just shows me they need to sit him down and talk to him or get a new QB maybe mcmahon can get things going mcnabb yea he will get tons and tons of passing yards, tons of pro bowls but unless this INT thing changes he will never win a super bowl.

im gonna dis a QB if he proves to me that he cant win a super bowl and throws INTS, poop the fact is pats are not going anywere this year eagles are not going anywere this year look at the teams whos QB'S are not stupid and dont suck, who would think plummer would be so good in denver and he's thrown no INTS this year, or the bears atop the NFC north.

this is folks just deal with it im an eagles fan have been for four years but i am willing to know when it's over so pat fans need to know this too pats are over, eagles are over deal with it and move on nuff said.

Seattle's conference to lose? I agree with a lot of what you said in your post, but the NFC isn't Seattle's to lose... it's Carolina's. Seattle will puff up its record by pounding on thost patsies out west masquarading as NFL teams (ie. the 49ers and Cardinals). They'll look real impressive come playoff time, but they are a paper tiger.

Carolina on the other hand will have come out of the second best division in the conference. They have the best defense in the conference, and with TO (THANKFULLY) out of the picture, Steve Smith is the most dominant wideout in the NFL. If they're healthly down the stretch (yes it's an IF), Stephen Davis and DeShawn Foster will make for a great running complement to Delhomme/Smith.

The Giants BLEW an easy game against the Vikings last Sunday. A loss like that in a division as tight as the NFC East is could cost them big time down the stretch. Plus they've already lost once to Dallas, who figures to be their closest competition for the division. If it comes down to tiebrakers, the Cowboys may hold the edge at the end of the season.

And the Colts... well, I've said it before. It PAINS me to say it (as I despise all things Manning) but they are the team to beat. There's no reason why they shouldn't steamroll their way to Detriot. They finally learned how to play defense, and to balance their offense. They can win slugfests, and they can win grinders. Pittsburgh will make things tough for them if the playoffs, but if that game is in Indy (which it will be) the Colts will have a huge edge. And no... no team in the NOT Football Conference can compete with the Colts. That goes for Seattle, and Carolina too I'm afraid.

Why no mention of the Broncos? Because the Colts OWN them in the playoffs... OWN them. They played in the first round the last two years, Colt blowouts both times. No I don't buy Jake Plumber, especially when Dwight Freeney is going to be chasing him around the backfield all day long.

Argeed seahawks are a great team but panthers are the team to beat there, denver yea colts may own them but hey there still a great team this year,
colts are the team to beat in the AFC and the steelers if ben plays rest of year, giants did lose to sucky vikings but i wonder what philly can do with a new QB and no owens i just hope that they win at least 5 more games to go 10-5 so at least that way they wont just get killed but that remains to be seen

you make alot of good points and im happy that unlike poop you make sense and know what you're talking about

i personally think that this thread will get closed in 5 hours or less. it's turning into a flame-fest....

why don't you two just calm down? it's a FRIGGIN GAME. watch it. if "your" team wins, then cheer them on. if "your" team loses, cheer them on anyway. FOOTBALL doesn't direct your life, YOU do.
